The Associated Medical Schools of New York (AMSNY) is a consortium of the sixteen public and private medical schools across the State. Its mission is to promote high quality and cost-efficient health care by assuring that the medical schools of New York State can provide outstanding medical education, care and research.
On December 14th, 2011 the Associated Medical Schools of New York, in association with New York State Academic Dental Centers, held their 3rd annual Global Health Forum entitled “Global Health in a Flatter World: Transforming Learning and Practice with Information Technology.” The event, hosted by NYU College of Dentistry, focused on information technology as it relates to global health in both the classroom and the field.
