Academic Counseling at The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education
The Academic Counseling Center of the school provides resources, skills and support that assist our students in successfully completing their medical education. The academic support programs of the LRC seek to enhance already talented and gifted students with the expertise needed to succeed at college, medical school and in the medical profession. Support programs include: academic counseling, a summer pre-matriculation program, and a peer-tutoring program. Since their inception, the programs have provided thousands of counseling and workshop hours.
Pathways to Careers in Medicine and Research at City College of the City Of New York
The goal of the Pathways to Careers in Medicine & Research Program at the City College of New York (CCNY) is to enhance research methodology techniques, science and academic skills, and clinical experiences in preparation for medical, science and other health professional graduate schools.
Outcomes data are available for 69 of 101 program graduates.
